Her love for music and talking led her to the radio broadcasting program at Mohawk College where she graduated with honours and received the coveted Agnes M. Anderson Award for excellence in radio. Neil Beaumont aka Boomer, born in Oakville. He was raised in Guelph and is a veteran broadcaster. He has had 28 years on air in the Kitchener Waterloo Guelph and Cambridge area and has twice been nominated as music director of the year.
