It’s probably something you haven’t given a lot of thought but, you probably will now…
A survey out of Britain found two thirds of funerals feature pop music, instead of just hymns. Topping the list of popular songs for seven years running, was Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”. Meanwhile, Adele’s “Someone Like You”, and “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” were other popular choices.
Not all clergymen have been liberal with the songs they choose. John Lennon’s “Imagine” isn’t always allowed at funerals because of the line “Imagine there’s no Heaven”.
This morning, we want to hear from you! What song would you want played at your funeral?!? Have you ever thought of it? Or, have you ever been to a funeral where an strange choice of music was played?!?
Tell us about it!

My husband was diagnosed with a terminal illness last December 2011 and regretably we have had to consider his funeral arrangements. I have chosen the song “Forever” by Rascall Flats. My husband wants “Stairway to Heaven” by Led Zeppelin.
