The 2009 four-part comic book Trace Adkins Is Luke McBain has been reissued as a complete graphic novel. The 112-page reissue adds behind-the-scenes content, including character designs, script pages and a cover gallery.

Trace developed Luke McBain with True Blood writer David Tischman and publisher Keven Gardner. The story follows Luke as he returns to his home in Louisiana after serving a 14-year prison sentence for a crime he didn’t commit.  Luke’s brother, Paul, is running the McBain family business that controls the town. Paul’s made himself rich, but local shops have closed and jobs are gone; people are angry and scared. And no one can do anything to stop it. Except Luke, the only one who knows Paul’s secret.
